A significant addition for the 2027 edition is The One Show Sports, a new discipline designed to celebrate creativity within the sports industry. This category will honor work involving athletes, teams, fans, and the cultural influence of competition.

Kevin Swanepoel, CEO of The One Club for Creativity, stated that the show is opening doors wider to creators, independents, and new tools to reflect how creative work is produced today. The organization also noted the inclusion of reduced fees for creators to support the industry's growing sectors.
