The Oxley Explorer expands NSW TrainLink coach services

The Oxley Explorer has expanded its regional transport operations by taking on three new NSW TrainLink coach services. These services, which began operating on July 1, 2026, aim to connect communities across the New England, North West, and Mid North Coast regions of New South Wales.

The new contract includes service 327/328 between Tenterfield and Armidale, which connects with NSW TrainLink Xplorer rail services. The company also operates service 376/375 between Armidale and Port Macquarie, allowing passengers to connect with XPT rail services at Wauchope Railway Station for travel toward Brisbane or Sydney. Additionally, service 313/314 runs between Walcha and Walcha Road, linking passengers to the regional rail network.

Owners Malcolm and Tammy Macpherson stated that these services are intended to provide reliable connections for residents in smaller communities where public transport options have historically been limited.
