The Paper returns for second season

The comedy series ‘The Paper’ is returning for a second season. The show, which follows the staff of the Toledo Truth Teller, a struggling Midwestern newspaper, is a spinoff related to the style of ‘The Office’ and is co-created by Greg Daniels.

Season two features Domhnall Gleeson as Ned Sampson, an overenthusiastic editor-in-chief. The new season explores Ned’s journalistic crusades and the evolving relationships among the staff. Cast members Alex Edelman and Oscar Nuñez, who reprises his role from ‘The Office’, recently participated in a roundtable discussion regarding the show’s direction and its focus on a community-driven ensemble.

Episodes are scheduled to premiere on SkyShowtime, with some availability noted on Peacock.
