The Paper returns for second season in Ohio

The mockumentary comedy series ‘The Paper’, created by Greg Daniels and Michael Koman, is returning for a second season. Set in the same creative universe as ‘The Office’, the show follows the documentary crew as they focus on the staff of the Toledo Truth Teller, a local newspaper in Ohio struggling to survive.

The new season follows the team after the newspaper received recognition at the Ohio Journalism Awards. Plotlines include Ned embarking on an investigation into a local private club and the evolving relationship between Ned and Mare. The cast features Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, Alex Edelman, and Oscar Nuñez.

In recent discussions, cast members Alex Edelman and Oscar Nuñez highlighted the collaborative nature of the production. Nuñez praised Edelman’s improvisational skills, while the series continues to utilize its signature satirical look at workplace dynamics through a mockumentary lens.
