The Paper returns for second season on Peacock and Sky

The mockumentary sitcom ‘The Paper’ is returning for a second season. On Peacock, the series is scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, September 9, following the team’s fictional success at the Ohio Journalism Awards. The new season follows Ned, played by Domhnall Gleeson, as he pursues a journalistic investigation into a local private club that may jeopardize the newspaper. The ensemble cast includes Sabrina Impacciatore, Chelsea Frei, and Melvin Gregg.

In the UK, Sky and NOW will also air the second season of ‘The Paper’ starting Thursday, September 10. Other upcoming programming on Sky includes the documentary ‘Lorne’, which explores the career of Lorne Michaels, the creator of ‘Saturday Night Live’, and the series ‘Europe’s Wild Kingdoms’.
