The Phantom of the Opera to premiere at Cluj-Napoca's BT Arena

The musical ‘The Phantom of the Opera’ by Andrew Lloyd Webber is set to make its premiere in Cluj-Napoca at the BT Arena on Friday, October 16. The production, which has reached over 160 million spectators across 35 countries and earned seven Tony Awards, has been specifically adapted for the large-scale arena setting.

The performance features a cast including Adrian Nour as the Phantom, Irina Baianț as Christine, and Kyrie Mendél as Raoul. The production includes the Orchestra, Choir, and Ballet of the National Opera Bucharest. Directed by Răzvan Dincă and conducted by Daniel Jinga, the show utilizes scenography by Gary McCann and choreography by Violeta Dincă. This event follows the musical's previous success in Romania, where it recorded 41 sold-out performances since March 2023.
