The Pineapple Thief announces new album “Far and Wide” for October 9 2026

British progressive‑rock band The Pineapple Thief revealed that their next studio album, Far and Wide, will be released on 9 October 2026 through InsideOut Music. The announcement coincides with the launch of the single “New World Order,” accompanied by a video directed by longtime collaborator George Laycock. Frontman Bruce Soord explained the band’s decision to limit guitar parts and harmonies to suit a five‑member live setup, while drummer Gavin Harrison said the new material often imagines how songs will sound on stage. Far and Wide will be issued in multiple formats, including a limited‑edition 2‑CD & Blu‑ray artbook with a bonus track “Daylight,” a special‑edition CD digipak, a gate‑fold LP in various colours, and digital stereo and Dolby‑Atmos versions.
