The Pineapple Thief releases new single ‘God Knows’

Progressive rock band The Pineapple Thief has released ‘God Knows’, the third single from their upcoming studio album, ‘Far and Wide’, scheduled for release on October 9, 2026. The band, now signed to InsideOut Records, describes the new material as having a more direct rock essence while maintaining their signature atmospheric and progressive qualities.

Founder and vocalist Bruce Soord noted that the band deliberately applied studio limitations to mirror their five-piece live setup, focusing on incisive songwriting rather than excessive layers. Drummer Gavin Harrison added that arrangements were often influenced by how the music would translate to a live stage environment.

The band is also planning a European tour to support the new album, including dates in Portugal at República da Música in Lisbon and Casa da Música in Porto on March 14 and 16.
