The Pokémon Company adds three Ascended Heroes TCG tins for August 2026

The Pokémon Company confirmed a surprise August launch for its Ascended Heroes trading‑card set. On 28 August 2026 three identical tins will be sold for about US 21.99 each, each containing four boosters and one exclusive Mega‑evolution promo card (Mega Feraligatr, Mega Meganium or Mega Emboar). The release aims to ease scarcity that followed the set’s January debut and the 30th‑anniversary hype, providing a lower‑priced option for casual players while collectors note the promos were previously available in earlier Mega Boxes.

The broader 2026 Pokémon programme also features a synchronized worldwide drop of the 30th‑anniversary TCG set on 16 September, with every region receiving the cards on the same day to curb parallel imports. All cards in the anniversary set are holographic, a departure from the usual rarity‑based treatment, and the schedule includes new Switch‑2 titles announced at the Pokémon Presents event, as well as re‑issues of classic games for Switch 2 and other platforms.
