The Pretty Reckless release new version of “About You” featuring Foo Fighters members

The Pretty Reckless have released a new version of their song “About You,” featuring Foo Fighters members Dave Grohl and Pat Smear. Grohl contributed drums, guitar, and backing vocals, while Smear provided additional guitar work.

Lead singer Taylor Momsen initiated the collaboration by contacting Grohl and Smear to add “their magic” to one of her favorite tracks from the band’s fifth studio album, “Dear God.” Momsen described the studio sessions as an enjoyable experience of playing with friends.

The album “Dear God” has seen significant success, including the single “When I Wake Up,” which achieved a number one spot on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. This achievement marked a record for a female-led band on that chart. The band is currently preparing for the European leg of their “Dear God Tour.”
