The Princeton Review releases annual US college rankings

The Princeton Review has released its annual college rankings based on surveys from 172,000 students across 392 institutions. The report evaluates various aspects of campus life, including academic rigor, financial aid, and student satisfaction.

In terms of academic workload, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) ranked first for students who spend the most time on extracurricular studies, followed by the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). Other top institutions for study intensity include Harvey Mudd College and the Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering. Princeton University was the only Ivy League school to appear in the top ten for study hours.

Regional highlights include Washington State University, which earned multiple top 20 finishes in student satisfaction and campus resources. Gonzaga University was recognized for its financial aid and community service, while Whitman College ranked highly for campus food. Conversely, the University of Oregon received low marks for financial aid satisfaction. Reed College was noted for meeting 100% of demonstrated financial need.
