The Red Barn Farm offers seasonal sunflower picking in Newburgh

The Red Barn Farm in Newburgh, Indiana, is entering its fifth year as an agritourism destination. Originally planted by owner Megan Klenck during the COVID-19 pandemic to serve as a pollinator haven, the sunflower field has since become a popular local attraction where visitors can take photographs and pick their own blooms.

The sunflower season is relatively brief, typically lasting approximately 12 days. Visitors are advised to check the farm's Facebook page or call ahead to confirm availability. The farm operates by appointment from Monday through Thursday, and from 9:00 AM to sunset on Friday through Sunday. Payment is accepted via cash and Venmo.
