The Revolutionaries series gains attention in India

The historical series ‘The Revolutionaries’ has garnered attention following a screening at actor Salman Khan’s Mumbai residence. The event included series stars Bhuvan Bam and director Nikkhil Advani.

Based on Sanjeev Sanyal’s book, the period drama depicts the armed resistance of young Indian revolutionaries against British rule. The cast features Bhuvan Bam as Rash Behari Bose, Rohit Saraf as Sachindra Nath Sanyal, Pratibha Ranta as Pratibha Lahiri, and Gurfateh Pirzada as Bagha Jatin.

Actor Rohit Saraf discussed his physical preparation for the role of Sanyal, noting that he utilized a combination of strength training and Kalaripayattu to achieve the agility and resilience required for the character. He described the intense regime as a shift from his typical romantic roles to a more athletic and disciplined approach to movement.
