The Revolutionaries series premieres on Prime Video

The period drama series ‘The Revolutionaries’ is now streaming on Prime Video. Directed by Nikkhil Advani, the production is inspired by true events and based on Sanjeev Sanyal’s bestselling book, ‘Revolutionaries: The Other Story Of How India Won Its Freedom’.

Rather than focusing on well-known historical narratives, the series highlights the stories of young men and women involved in armed resistance and secrecy against the British Raj. The plot follows four central figures: Rash Behari Bose (played by Bhuvan Bam), Sachindra Nath Sanyal (played by Rohit Saraf), Pratibha Lahiri (played by Pratibha Ranta), and Bagha Jatin (played by Gurfateh Pirzada).

Set beginning in 1912, the narrative moves through various locations including Delhi, Dehradun, Benaras, Calcutta, Lahore, and Punjab. The series is available in Hindi, with dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Bengali.
