The Rings of Power introduces first teenage dwarves in season three

The third season of the Amazon Prime Video series ‘The Rings of Power’ will introduce the first teenage dwarves to the Middle-earth franchise. The characters, Gerda and Gamli, are the children of Prince Durin and Disa.

Following a five-year time jump in the series, the siblings will become central figures in Khazad-dûm. Amber Mendez-Martin has been cast as Gerda, while Lee Braithwaite will portray Gamli. The characters were briefly seen in the first season wearing oversized helmets, but their identities remained hidden until now.

The new season is set to release eight episodes starting November 11, 2026. The plot will involve growing tensions within the dwarven kingdom and the mobilization of their home against Sauron.
