The Rings of Power Season 3 Announces Celeborn and Elros Castings

Jamie Campbell Bower has been confirmed to portray Celeborn in the upcoming third season of Amazon Prime Video’s The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. The casting was revealed in an exclusive interview with Empire, and fans responded positively to the news.

In a separate announcement, Robert Aramayo, who already plays Elrond, will also appear as Elros, Elrond’s half‑elf twin brother, in flashback scenes that explore the early days of Númenor. Elros, the first King of Númenor and ancestor of Aragorn, will be featured as part of the series’ expanding focus on the Second Age conflict.

Both casting decisions are positioned to deepen the show’s connection to Tolkien’s broader mythology as Season 3 moves forward with the escalating Númenor storyline.
