The Rose Story: New visuals released for Liu Yifei drama
New promotional visuals and scene photography have been released for the popular Chinese drama ‘The Rose Story,’ starring Liu Yifei. The imagery captures the protagonist's life journey across her 20s, 30s, and 40s, highlighting her evolving relationships and personal growth.
In preparation for the Japanese home video release, three DVD-BOX sets will be made available through Pony Canyon. BOX 1 is scheduled for release on September 2, 2026, followed by BOX 2 on October 7, 2026, and the final BOX 3 on November 4, 2026. Each set is priced at 17,600 yen. The final volume will include special bonus content such as cast commentary from Liu Yifei, Wallace Huo, Regina Wan, and Lin Yi, as well as making-of footage.
The series, which has received multiple awards in China, follows the life of Huang Yimei as she navigates career, marriage, and motherhood while striving to live authentically.
