The Royal Mint launches collectible Cluedo coins

The Royal Mint has launched a new collection of Cluedo-themed coins produced in collaboration with Hasbro. The coins feature characters from the detective board game, including Miss Scarlett, Colonel Mustard, Professor Plum, Mrs Peacock, Reverend Green, and Mrs White. Some editions incorporate colors associated with the game, and the designs include intricate microtext detailing characters, locations, and weapons.

To celebrate the launch, The Royal Mint is hosting an online competition titled ‘the case of the missing coin’. Participants are invited to solve clues released weekly on the Mint’s website and social media channels to identify a specific suspect, location, and coin type. Those who successfully solve the mystery will be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win a Cluedo Gold 50p coin, valued at over £2,000. The competition concludes on October 19.
