The Saints ’73-’78 announce 2027 Australian tour

The Saints ’73-’78 have announced an Australian tour for 2027 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their debut album. The tour will include stops in Newcastle, Sydney, Wollongong, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Perth, Barwon Heads, and Melbourne.

Accompanying the tour is the release of ‘Live at Club ’76’, a 15-track live album recorded in September 1976 at the band’s Petrie Terrace rehearsal space. The album features early versions of songs from ‘(I’m) Stranded’ and ‘Eternally Yours’, along with various covers. The full album is scheduled for release on 20 November.

Prior to the Australian dates, the group will perform in the UK during November and December as special guests on The Damned’s ‘Final Damnation 50th anniversary tour’. Founding members Ed Kuepper and Ivor Hay previously conducted an overseas tour in late 2025 covering the US, Sweden, and Germany.
