The Sebel Melbourne Flinders Lane undergoes $5 million renovation

The Sebel Melbourne Flinders Lane, located in the heart of the Melbourne CBD, has undergone a $5 million renovation to establish a “contemporary urban chic” atmosphere. Originally built in 1921 in the city’s former rag trade precinct, the building was acquired by Accor in 2005.

The updated lobby features a reconfiguration that includes a lounge area with forest-toned furniture and a teardrop-shaped hanging electric fireplace for informal check-ins. The interior design incorporates contemporary artworks and highlights the building's history. One-bedroom accommodations are designed with an apartment-like feel, featuring dining nooks with marble-topped tables, living rooms with leather modular couches, and views of the Melbourne skyline.
