The Sheep Detectives follows a flock of sheep solving a murder mystery

The film “The Sheep Detectives” follows a flock of sheep attempting to solve the murder of their shepherd, played by Hugh Jackman. The investigation is aided by a local police chief, Officer Derry, portrayed by Nicholas Braun, and a lawyer played by Emma Thompson.

While the film features highly realistic computer-animated sheep, critics have noted narrative and performance inconsistencies. Some reviews suggest the film attempts to emulate the charm of “Paddington 2” but struggles with its underlying philosophy and uneven character deliveries.
