The Silence of the Lambs to receive new stage adaptation

A new theatrical adaptation of Thomas Harris’s psychological thriller, ‘The Silence of the Lambs’, is set to tour the UK and Ireland. The production will have its world premiere at Leicester’s Curve theatre before visiting locations such as the Newcastle Theatre Royal in August 2026.

The cast features John Partridge as Hannibal Lecter and Mollie Gallagher, making her professional stage debut, as Clarice Starling. Other cast members include Oliver Farnworth as FBI agent Jack Crawford and Sam Jackson as the serial killer Buffalo Bill. The adaptation, written by Gina Gionfriddo, aims to bring the iconic characters from the novel and film to the stage.
