Disney+ has released a trailer for “Yellow Mirror,” a new Simpsons exclusive special scheduled to premiere on August 26, 2026. The special is a parody of the sci-fi anthology series “Black Mirror,” focusing on dark, tech-driven narratives.

The special consists of two stories: one involving an AI-powered tablet that befriends and attempts to control Maggie, and another featuring a defective lamp that forces Homer to confront a heartbreaking truth about his reality.

“Yellow Mirror” is the third Simpsons exclusive to debut on Disney+ this summer, following “Extreme Makeover: Homer Edition” and the noir-inspired “Simpsley.” The long-running series is set to begin its 38th season on Fox on September 27.
