The Strokes perform career-spanning sets in London and Manchester
The indie rock band The Strokes have completed performances in London and Manchester as part of their recent tour. In London at the O2 Arena, the band delivered a set that included tracks from their latest album, ‘Reality Awaits’, alongside classics such as ‘Soma’, ‘Reptilia’, and ‘Last Nite’. Frontman Julian Casablancas maintained his signature stage presence, engaging in banter with the audience despite varying critical reactions to the band's recent musical direction.
In Manchester, the band performed at the Co-op Live arena, marking their first appearance in the city since 2006. The setlist featured a mix of new material, such as ‘Lonely in the Future’, and established hits including ‘Hard To Explain’ and ‘Take It Or Leave It’. The performance was characterized by an energetic atmosphere and a stage design featuring eighties-inspired sci-fi aesthetics.
