The Strokes set July 24 release for new album “Reality Awaits”

New York‑based rock band The Strokes announced that their seventh studio album, titled “Reality Awaits,” will be released on 24 July 2026. The record, produced with Rick Rubin and partly recorded in Costa Rica, includes singles such as “Going Shopping” and “Falling out of Love.”

The album follows 2020’s “The New Abnormal” and has sparked fan speculation about internal tensions, with rumors that guitarist Nick Valensi may sit out the upcoming tour and be temporarily replaced.

The release marks the band’s first full‑length album in six years and is slated for global distribution across physical and digital platforms.
