The Sunshinery gift shop features real ‘You’ve Got Mail’ filming location

The Sunshinery, a gift shop located on the Upper West Side of New York City, serves as the real-life location for the exterior of ‘The Shop Around the Corner’ from the 1998 film ‘You’ve Got Mail’.

While much of the film's interior was shot in a studio, the shop's facade remains a recognizable landmark for fans of the Nora Ephron classic. The store, which is locally owned, aims to foster community spirit similar to the fictional independent bookshop depicted in the movie.
