The Temperance Movement releases new album ‘New Promise Land Incorporated’

British rock band The Temperance Movement has released their new album, ‘New Promise Land Incorporated’, via Earache Records. This marks the group’s first album of entirely new material in eight years following a hiatus that began when vocalist Phil Campbell left the group in 2020.

Produced and mixed by Ethan Johns, the album was recorded in April 2026. The band utilized a live recording approach to capture the energy of five musicians playing together in a single room. The musical style is described as a blend of gritty rock, blues, and soul, drawing influences from acts such as The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, and The Black Crowes.

The ten-track album includes songs such as ‘Shadows’, ‘Eat You Alive’, ‘Silverlight Blues’, and ‘Love Kicks’. The release is intended to signal a new chapter for the band while maintaining the raw, retro-edged sound characteristic of their earlier work.
