THE THOUSAND KYOTO to host exclusive Christmas sommelier dinners

THE THOUSAND KYOTO will host a two-day special event titled ‘Christmas Dinner produced by THE THOUSAND KYOTO Sommelier Team in 2026’ on December 19 and 20, 2026. The event features curated pairings of wines and sake selected from the hotel’s ‘Star Wine List’ award-winning collection.

On December 19, the dinner will be held at the Italian restaurant SCALAE, featuring a seasonal Christmas course. On December 20, the event moves to the Japanese restaurant KIZAHASHI, focusing on the harmony between delicate Japanese cuisine and selected beverages.

The dinners will be led by Chef Sommelier Ryoma Okichu and Beverage Director Wataru Iwata. Each session is limited to 10 guests and is priced at 120,000 yen per person, which includes the special course and seven types of pairing drinks.
