The Toy Association announces 2026 TAGIE Awards finalists

People of Play, a division of The Toy Association, has announced the finalists for the 19th annual Toy & Game International Excellence (TAGIE) Awards. The awards recognize various contributors to the industry, including inventors, designers, retailers, and marketing teams.

Public voting is currently open across 10 categories and will run until October 22. While the Game Changer and Lifetime Achievement Awards are selected by specialized committees, industry professionals and consumers are invited to vote online for other categories.

The 2026 ceremony is scheduled for November 6 at Joe’s Live Concert Venue in Rosemont, Illinois. This year’s event features the theme ‘The Force of Play’ to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Star Wars: A New Hope. Ashley Eckstein is set to host the ceremony.
