The Traitors Ireland returns for second season

The second season of the RTÉ reality competition show, The Traitors Ireland, has commenced at Slane Castle with host Siobhán McSweeney. The series features a group of contestants competing for a prize pot of up to €50,000 through a series of psychological games.

In a recent episode, contestants Diego and Denis revealed to viewers that they have been married for 11 years, a secret they maintained from their fellow players during gameplay. The episode also saw the elimination of two contestants, Emma and Edelle, through murder and banishment respectively.

The show follows a format where a small number of players are secretly designated as traitors, while the rest are faithfuls. Traitors attempt to eliminate faithfuls during private nightly meetings, while the faithfuls use roundtable votes to attempt to identify and banish the traitors.
