The Traitors Ireland set to return on August 30 on RTÉ

The Irish reality‑competition series The Traitors Ireland will launch its second season on Sunday, 30 August, broadcasting on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player platform. The show returns with Siobhán McSweeny resuming her role as host and will be filmed at the historic Slane Castle and at RTÉ’s Limerick studios. Contestants will compete in challenges to add to a prize pot that can reach up to €50,000.

A companion programme, The Traitors Ireland Uncloaked, will be presented by Kevin McGahern and will feature interviews with celebrity guests and eliminated players. Series producer Mairéad Whelan said the new series “leans into our own humour, culture and characters” and promises “new twists, turns and tears of an All‑Ireland final.”
