The Traitors: New Blood schedule changes on NBC

NBC has paused new episodes of ‘The Traitors: New Blood’ for one week, replacing the scheduled programming with MLB playoff coverage featuring the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees.

When the series returns on October 8, the broadcast format will shift from two episodes per week to a single weekly episode to accommodate the return of ‘Law & Order’ and ‘Law & Order: SVU’. While the show has seen ratings success, ranking as NBC’s top new unscripted premiere in six years among adults aged 18-49, the upcoming episodes will feature a different structure and shorter runtimes for broadcast compared to the Peacock streaming versions.

Episode 5 is expected to introduce a murder twist involving a funeral setting and a task where a traitor attempts a murder in plain sight using an apple.
