The Voice of Germany returns for 16th season in 2026

The 16th season of the casting show ‘The Voice of Germany’ is set to premiere on September 11, 2026. The new season features a change in broadcasting schedule, with SAT.1 and ProSieben alternating episodes on Fridays and Saturdays to air the show during weekend prime time.

Returning coaches include Nico Santos, Rea Garvey, Shirin David, and Michi Beck and Smudo from Die Fantastischen Vier. The show will also feature new hosts, Matthias Killing and Melissa Khalaj. The upcoming blind auditions in Berlin will see over 100 aspiring singers competing for spots on the coaches' teams.

Additionally, singer Tina Trummer is set to return to the production in 2026, though in a different capacity than her previous appearances as a contestant.
