The Voice returns for Season 30 with live shows and new coaches

The singing competition ‘The Voice’ is returning for its 30th season, premiering on September 21. This milestone season features a significant format change as the show returns to live performances. Executive producer Audrey Morrissey stated the series is experiencing a “full circle” moment by reintroducing six weeks of live shows.

Supported by Peacock, the new format will include real-time voting, allowing viewers to vote for artists during the broadcast to determine who moves on that same night. Following the initial premiere week, the show will transition to a weekly two-hour Monday night schedule.

The coaching panel for Season 30 includes returning veterans Adam Levine and Kelly Clarkson, alongside new additions Queen Latifah and country singer Riley Green. Carson Daly will return as the host.
