The Voice Season 30 premieres with new coaches and format changes

NBC’s musical competition series, The Voice, has premiered its 30th season with a three-night event beginning September 21, 2026. The milestone season introduces new coaches Queen Latifah and Riley Green, joining returning coaches Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine.

Several format changes have been implemented this season. A new “First In Button” allows the first coach to turn during a multi-chair moment a chance to claim an artist before their final decision. Additionally, the “Cut Week” phase will feature a significant elimination process to determine the Top 13 artists. The season will also include themed episodes such as Dolly Parton Tribute Week, Y2K, and TikTok.

Viewers can watch the program on NBC or stream it via Peacock, which will host the live shows for the first time in the show’s history. New voting methods have been introduced, allowing fans to participate via SMS and TikTok.
