The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon announces final season cast and teaser

AMC has released a teaser for the fourth and final season of ‘The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon’. The preview features Daryl Dixon, played by Norman Reedus, and Carol, played by Melissa McBride, as they navigate the ravaged landscapes of Spain.

The new season introduces Emmy winner Jimmy Smits to the cast. Smits will portray Captain Alejandro Perkins, a former U.S. Navy officer and medical doctor who has developed a unique way to survive the apocalypse. The teaser shows a wounded Daryl waking up to the voice of Smits’ character saying, ‘Welcome home, son.’

In addition to the new cast member, the season will feature fast and aggressive walkers. The storyline follows Daryl and Carol as they search for hope and a way home following the events of the previous season, which left them stranded in Spain.
