The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon final season announced and Spanish town launches themed escape room

AMC+ has announced that the fourth and final season of ‘The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon’ is scheduled to premiere in February 2027. During a presentation at New York Comic Con, cast members Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride, along with showrunner David Zabel and Scott M. Gimple, shared new images and a teaser for the concluding season, which will continue to feature settings in Spain.

In the town of Sepúlveda, Spain, the legacy of the series' filming has inspired a new local initiative. Creators Sepúlveda Viva and VeroSfera have launched ‘El Último Fuero: La Caída de Sepúlveda’, a theatricalized urban escape room. The 90-minute experience uses the town's historic district as a game board, where participants interact with live actors to solve mysteries based on the town's history and an apocalyptic theme. The project aims to drive rural tourism by transforming visitors into active players, appealing to families, youth, and seniors alike.
