The Walsh Sisters returns for second series on BBC and RTÉ

The comedy-drama series ‘The Walsh Sisters’ is returning for a second six-part series on both the BBC and RTÉ. Based on the novels by Marian Keyes, including ‘The Mystery of Mercy Close’ and ‘Angels’, the production is currently underway.

The new season follows the chaotic lives of five sisters and their parents in their Dublin hometown. Returning cast members include Caroline Menton, Danielle Galligan, Máiréad Tyers, Stefanie Preissner, and Louisa Harland, alongside Aidan Quinn and Carrie Crowley.

New additions to the cast include Fay Ripley as marriage counsellor Sharon, Peter Coonan as David, Aislín McGuckin as Patsy Costello, and Art Campion as an old schoolfriend. The series is produced by Cuba Pictures and Metropolitan Pictures.
