The Walt Disney Company celebrates 103rd anniversary

The Walt Disney Company is celebrating its 103rd anniversary, marking the founding of the Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio on October 16, 1923. The company's origins trace back to Walt Disney's move from Kansas City to Los Angeles following the failure of his Laugh-O-gram Films studio.

CEO Josh D'Amaro commemorated the milestone on social media, reflecting on the legacy established by brothers Walt and Roy Disney. He noted the importance of remembering the company's beginnings as it continues to operate as a major global entertainment entity spanning film, theme parks, and cruise lines.
