The Walters Group receives 28 new Caterpillar machines from Finning to boost UK infrastructure projects

The Walters Group, a civil engineering and plant‑hire firm, has taken delivery of 28 new Caterpillar machines supplied by Finning UK & Ireland. The order includes excavators, soil compactors and dozers, among them a Centennial Edition D6 XE dozer painted in Centennial Grey to mark Caterpillar’s 100‑year anniversary. The delivery brings the total number of Caterpillar machines supplied to Walters over the past five years to 400, supporting large infrastructure, transport and housing contracts across England and Wales.

Group Chairman Dai Walters said he is proud of adding the Centennial Edition D6 to the fleet, noting the company’s 45‑year history of operating a wide range of Cat equipment. Finning’s national account manager Darren Bodio highlighted the long‑standing partnership and the role of high‑performance machines in meeting project deadlines and improving efficiency. All machines come with a four‑year/8,000‑hour warranty and Customer Value Agreements to ensure reliability and performance.
