The War on Drugs release new single ‘Who’s That’

American rock band The War on Drugs has released ‘Who’s That’, marking their first new studio recording in several years. The track was written and produced by frontman Adam Granduciel at his studio in Burbank, California.

Granduciel described the song as a reflection on mental health, specifically addressing themes of anxiety, depression, and self-doubt. The single features musical contributions from Anthony LaMarca on drums and Dave Hartley on bass, alongside Granduciel’s guitar and keyboard work. The release is accompanied by a music video directed by Max Flick, which depicts Granduciel walking through the streets of Burbank.

The band is preparing for a series of upcoming performances and festival appearances in the United States, including stops at the Austin City Limits Music Festival and various tour dates beginning in September.
