The Weeknd launches After Hours Til Dawn tour in Jakarta

Canadian singer Abel Tesfaye, known as The Weeknd, launched his ‘After Hours Til Dawn’ stadium tour in Jakarta at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) on September 26, 2026. The performance featured a 42-song setlist, including hits such as ‘Starboy’ and ‘The Hills’. The concert opened with ‘Baptized in Fear’ while the artist wore a mask, a visual element that contributed to the show’s dark and theatrical atmosphere.

The production included large-scale visual installations, most notably a giant golden robot designed by Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama. The event was preceded by an ‘After Hours Til Dawn Asia’ pop-up store in Jakarta, which operated from September 24 to 27, 2026, offering merchandise and immersive fan experiences.

Ticket sales for the two-day event at JIS saw high demand, with many categories selling out within minutes. During the performance, Tesfaye expressed his appreciation for the local audience and stated his intention to return to Indonesia soon.
