The Witcher 3 expansion leads Steam wishlist gains at Gamescom 2026

The upcoming expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, titled ‘Songs of the Past’, emerged as the most anticipated title following Gamescom 2026. According to data from Alinea Analytics, the expansion secured approximately 451,000 new Steam wishlists between August 23 and August 30.

Developed in collaboration with Fool’s Theory, the expansion will introduce players to the region of Letten, a pastoral land inspired by Polish and English countryside. The narrative reportedly centers on Geralt of Rivia assisting his old friend Dandelion, who is facing personal family matters.

Other notable performers in the Steam wishlist rankings include ‘Warlock: Dungeons and Dragons’ by Invoke Studios, which earned roughly 379,000 wishlists, and the free-to-play anime-style RPG ‘Ananta’, which garnered approximately 302,000. Other titles appearing in the top rankings include ‘LEGO Skylines’ and the ‘Heroes of Might and Magic 3’ remake.
