The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt expansion music EP released
Milan Records and CD PROJEKT RED have released a new music EP titled ‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Songs of the Past (Original Soundtrack gamescom 2026 EP)’. The EP features tracks composed by Magda Urbańska, Marcin Przybyłowicz, and Daniel Elms, which were originally presented during Gamescom 2026.
The music is intended to preview the sonic identity of the upcoming ‘Songs of the Past’ expansion, which blends orchestral arrangements with folk elements and Slavic musical influences. The EP is currently available on all digital platforms.
The expansion, being co-developed by CD PROJEKT RED and Fool’s Theory, is scheduled for release in 2027. It will take the protagonist, Geralt of Rivia, to a new region called Letten. The content is expected to introduce new enemies, new abilities, and a new weapon known as a chain. The expansion will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via platforms including Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, and Battle.net.
