The Wolf Among Us 2 gameplay details revealed

Telltale Games is developing The Wolf Among Us 2, a direct sequel to the 2013 original. Set six months after the first game, the story follows Bigby Wolf as he investigates a serial killer alongside a human NYPD detective named Faye.

A key gameplay mechanic involves player choice regarding whether to reveal the existence of magic and Fables to Faye. While the game maintains narrative continuity, it is designed to be a standalone experience that does not require prior knowledge of the first title. Snow White is also expected to return.

Technical updates include a shift from fixed isometric views to a third-person camera, allowing direct control of the protagonist. Other improvements include a more developed inventory system and an evolving Fablebook that changes based on player decisions and experiences.
