Theater Company Small Sound and Movement to premiere new play in Buan

Theater Company Small Sound and Movement will premiere its original play, ‘Wind, Opens the Door!’, at the Buan Arts Center on the 31st. The production will feature two performances at 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM.

The play utilizes a play-within-a-play format to connect the 1919 April 4th Independence Movement in the Somri market area with the contemporary struggles of today's youth. It depicts the historical figures Moon Yong-gi, Park Young-mun, and Ae-sin, specifically highlighting Moon Yong-gi’s sacrifice during the independence movement.

By juxtaposing the courage of historical activists with the modern anxieties of actors, writers, and directors regarding career and identity, the work aims to convey that living authentically is a form of true independence. Tickets go on sale starting the 23rd at 9:00 AM, with prices set at 5,000 KRW, including discounts for national merit recipients and large families.
