Theater productions debut in Antofagasta, Chile and inclusive casting call announced in La Plata, Argentina

A new stage play titled “Bajo el Sol”, written and directed by Michael Silva Díaz, will be performed in Antofagasta, Chile on August 14‑15. The production stars regional actors Ángel Lattus and Ornella Rocco and will be presented under a “pay‑what‑you‑can” ticket scheme, with prices ranging from 5,000 to 10,000 Chilean pesos.

In La Plata, Argentina, a casting call has been opened for two upcoming theater productions scheduled to premiere in November at the Centro Cultural Estación Provincial. The inclusive audition, led by director Pablo Dorado, seeks actors and actresses of all abilities, gender identities and ages, and will take place on Saturday, August 8.
