Theater productions debut in Chile and Argentina

In Chile, the theater company La Llave Maestra will present ‘INFINITA: Paisajes de Gabriela’ at Teatro CA660 on August 25. The production is a visual and sensory tribute to the poetic universe of Nobel Prize winner Gabriela Mistral. Using object theater, dance, illusionism, masks, and puppets, the non-verbal performance explores various facets of the Chilean writer’s life, including her roles as a child, woman, mother, and intellectual.

In Argentina, the Buenos Aires theater scene features several notable works. Gabriela Acher returns to the Teatro Picadilly on Sunday evenings with a solo performance that uses a sentimental consultation format to address themes of aging and womanhood. Additionally, a production of ‘The Wizard of Oz,’ directed by Sebastián Irigo, is performing on weekends at the Sala María Guerrero of the Teatro Nacional Cervantes.
