Theater productions return to Lima and Buenos Aires

The musical production ‘Planchando el Despecho – Todas vuelven, tú también’ is returning to Lima. Featuring performers Maricarmen Marín, Gianella Neyra, Rebeca Escribens, Almendra Gomelsky, and Katia Condos, the show is scheduled for November 13 at the Anfiteatro del Parque de la Exposición. The cast noted that the production includes new songs and surprises intended to evolve the experience beyond previous seasons.

In Argentina, the award-winning musical ‘La Llamada,’ created by Los Javis (Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo), is returning to Buenos Aires for a limited run of 12 performances. Starting September 9, the production will play Wednesdays at the Teatro Astros. The new cast includes Leti Siciliani, Juli Castro, César ‘Banana’ Pueyrredón, Evitta Luna, and Momi Giardina, with direction by Juanse Rausch. The show features live music, including original songs and covers of Whitney Houston and pop hits.
