Theater productions scheduled in Fortaleza and João Pessoa

Several theatrical productions are scheduled in Brazil. The play ‘A Última Sessão de Freud’, directed by Elias Andreato and starring Odilon Wagner and Marcello Airoldi, will return to the Teatro RioMar Fortaleza for a new season from September 4 to 6, 2026. Based on the work of Mark St. Germain, the play depicts a fictional debate between Sigmund Freud and C. S. Lewis regarding atheism and faith.

In João Pessoa, the production ‘Boas Festas — Crônicas de Walcyr Carrasco’ will hold an open rehearsal at the Teatro Lima Penante as part of the V Mostra Made In Lima. Directed by José Maria Rodrigues, the play is inspired by chronicles by Walcyr Carrasco and explores human behavior and social contradictions through humor and irony.
